LHC Procurement Group announces new strategic direction with key leadership appointments
LHC Procurement Group (LHCPG) is proud to welcome three key figures under the leadership of our newly promoted Group CEO.
While Clive Feeney has been named Group CEO, Michael McLaughlin has been appointed as Group social value manager. Craig Glasper and Martin Ford both join the organisation’s Board.
Clive was previously Group managing director – a role he has held since LHCPG became a company limited by guarantee (CLG) in April 2023.
He will now lead LHCPG through its next phase of growth, driving the Group’s ambitious objectives to deepen its impact on the communities it serves.
Clive said: “I am honoured to be leading LHCPG at such a crucial time. With a clear vision for growth and a renewed commitment to delivering social value, we are positioned to make a significant difference when delivering frameworks to the public sector.
“These new appointments will help us to turn our vision into a reality and help us support our clients in delivering high-quality homes and buildings.”
Meanwhile, Michael McLaughlin’s role is a first for LHCPG and will be pivotal in further integrating social value into its operations.
The role has been designed to ensure the Group maximises the way that projects delivered via frameworks contribute to well-being, sustainability, and long-term social impact, in a way that is measurable and reflects the true needs of the community.
Michael, who has spent more than 21 years working for and with social housing organisations, brings experience from previous roles at Clydebank Housing Association and UK-wide charity HACT.
He said: “I am excited to join LHCPG at such an important time for the housing sector. Together we will drive social value initiatives that make a real difference in people’s lives and help create long-lasting, positive change.”
In addition to these senior leadership appointments, LHCPG has welcomed two new members to its Board: Craig Glasper, CEO of Greenhill Housing Association, and Martin Ford, director of assets and maintenance for Wales & West Housing.
Both bring extensive expertise in property development and governance, enhancing the Board’s collective strength as the Group seeks to expand its influence across the sector.
Craig said: “Having spent years at the helm of a housing association, I have seen firsthand the importance of driving sustainable growth while prioritising the needs of tenants and communities. I look forward to contributing to LHCPG’s mission to deliver innovative housing solutions and ensure that social value remains at the heart of everything we do.”
Martin added: “I am hugely excited to join the LHCPG Board as we embark on an exciting new chapter. I’m passionate about the part social value plays in transforming communities; it’s not just about bricks and mortar – it’s about creating opportunities that improve quality of life, drive economic growth, and foster resilience.
These appointments come as LHCPG embarks on a new strategic chapter, with plans to enhance offerings, with a focus on amplifying social value and empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Our upcoming frameworks are designed to integrate social impact into every facet of procurement, ensuring that housing projects deliver long-term benefits to the communities we serve.
This strategic change supports the Group’s goal of building a more inclusive and sustainable supply chain, while addressing critical challenges such as job creation, community resilience, and environmental responsibility.
