Social Value
Social Value is at the core of everything we do here at LHC Procurement Group.
The H2W framework includes a commitment to deliver increased added value by clearly defining social value to be delivered, and systems for measuring and monitoring it. LHC Procurement Group appointed companies will support, facilitate and influence public sector contracting authorities in maximising the opportunities to increase social value delivered through H2W projects.
Furthermore the H2W Social Value Objectives and Expectations Appendix sets out social value priorities and measures for this framework, aligning the nature of the framework and partner priorities. To support appointed companies to deliver more social value through projects awarded via the H2W framework, we have created guides and tools to aid you, through our Social Value Toolkit.
Our mission is to Improve lives and places through quality procurement solutions by maximising public benefit, re-investing surplus in communities, and through living our values.
Published in March 2024, our three-year Social Value Strategy defines our social value priorities and how we will work with our partners to deliver them.

Partners in each region have the opportunity to create and distribute a Community Benefit Fund. The fund is generated from the rebate partners receive if they spend over a specified threshold on LHC frameworks.
An additional community benefit fund is available to LHC Board partner organisations. We work with partners in each region to find a local charity partner who can help them distribute grants to worthwhile projects and causes. Projects and causes must meet specific criteria determined by partners, to ensure the Community Benefit Fund is used to support local needs and objectives.
